The terms and conditions ("Agreement") apply to Pressed & Shaken Laundry LLC’s ("Pressed & Shaken") website (pressedandshaken.com), its related mobile applications, and/or selected other domains, current or future, content, products, and services (collectively, the "Services"). As used in this Agreement, "Pressed & Shaken," "we," "us," or "our" refers to Pressed & Shaken Laundry LLC.

By accessing or using our Services, whether or not you register, you agree to the terms of this Agreement and consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your information as detailed in our Privacy Policy. This website and its content are provided “as is,” and Pressed & Shaken Laundry LLC excludes, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, any warranty, express or implied, including, without limitation, implied warranties of merchantability, satisfactory quality, or fitness for a particular purpose.

Pressed & Shaken Laundry LLC will not be liable for any damages of any kind arising from the use of this site, including, but not limited to, direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, and consequential damages. The functions embodied on or within the materials of this website are not warranted to be uninterrupted or error-free.

Pressed & Shaken Laundry Terms and Conditions

Rest assured, your satisfaction is always our priority. We treat your laundry with the same care and attention as if it were our own. However, we need to establish some guidelines to ensure there are no misunderstandings regarding Pressed & Shaken Laundry LLC (referred to as "we," "us," "our," or "Pressed & Shaken") or your obligations. By using our services, you acknowledge and agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

Suitability for Laundering
By using our service, you agree that your clothes are suitable to be washed in water, on a normal cycle, and dried using heat in a tumble dryer. We cannot be responsible for any damage to clothing that is not suitable for this standard laundering process. 

Right to Refusal: Similarly, we reserve the right to refuse service items that we feel will be hazardous to our staff, such as items heavily soiled with human or animal waste. This is for the health and safety of our team. Similarly, we reserve the right to decline cleaning any piece of laundry if we think it will lead to damage to other pieces of laundry or our machines.

Damaged Laundry

While we take every precaution to ensure your laundry is handled with care, certain limitations may arise. For instance, we are unable to inspect each individual pocket for items left behind. Consequently, Pressed & Shaken Laundry LLC cannot be held liable for any damage caused by items inadvertently left in your laundry, such as lipstick, chewing gum, or pens.

Lost Items

At Pressed & Shaken Laundry, we strive to provide exceptional care and service for your belongings. If you realize after dropping off your laundry that you've left a personal item, such as a favorite bracelet or any other cherished belonging, in a pocket, please let us know as soon as possible. While we cannot guarantee that the item will be found or returned, we will make every effort to assist in locating it. Your satisfaction is our priority, and we are here to help in any way we can.

Garment Care and Limitations

All laundering processes, even those performed with the utmost care, may result in normal wear and tear on clothing. As such, Pressed & Shaken Laundry LLC cannot be held responsible for issues such as the loss of buttons, fading, fabric fatigue, holes, or abrasions.

We kindly request that items labeled "dry-clean only" or those unsuitable for standard washing and drying methods not be included in the wash & fold service. Additionally, while we take precautions to minimize risks, we cannot accept responsibility for color transfer (commonly known as bleeding) or dimensional changes, such as shrinking or stretching, that may occur during the laundering process.

Cleaning Service Disclaimer

Pressed & Shaken Laundry LLC is committed to providing high-quality cleaning services and will make every reasonable effort to achieve the best results. However, we cannot accept liability for damage resulting from the standard cleaning of items that lack care instructions.

Additionally, Pressed & Shaken Laundry LLC assumes no responsibility for items that are treated in accordance with care labels or other instructions provided, nor for "special care" items requiring extra attention or lacking care instructions.

Pressed & Shaken Laundry LLC reserves the right to refuse cleaning any garment and does not guarantee the complete removal of stains.

Reimbursement Policy

Pressed & Shaken Laundry LLC, at its sole discretion, may reimburse the customer for lost or damaged clothing. The reimbursement amount will be determined by Pressed & Shaken Laundry LLC and will not exceed five times the cost of cleaning the garment.

Customers must notify Pressed & Shaken Laundry LLC within 48 hours of receiving their delivery regarding any lost or damaged items from that specific delivery. Failure to do so will constitute a waiver of any claims related to lost or damaged items from that delivery.

Lost Laundry

At Pressed & Shaken Laundry, we strive to handle your clothing with the utmost care. While we would love to inventory every individual item you entrust to us, it is unfortunately cost-prohibitive to do so. As a result, we cannot take responsibility for any lost laundry, as we have no definitive way of verifying the receipt of specific items.

That said, we are committed to keeping your clothing safe and organized. All bundles are carefully tagged with your name, and items remain secure within our facility—whether inside machines, on folding tables, or in laundry carts awaiting folding.

If you believe something from your order is missing, we encourage you to notify us within 24 hours of receiving your clean clothes. Timely reporting significantly increases the likelihood of locating any misplaced items.

Unattended Pick-Up and Delivery

If you request that your laundry be left unattended (e.g., on your porch, in a hallway, or your foyer) or entrusted to a third party (e.g., a doorman or neighbor), Pressed & Shaken Laundry LLC cannot be held responsible for your laundry prior to pick-up or after delivery.

Additionally, by utilizing our services, you acknowledge and accept that the recorded pick-up and delivery times maintained by Pressed & Shaken Laundry LLC are accurate and final.

Interior Access for Delivery: Hold Harmless and Indemnification

If the customer grants access to their property for the delivery of clothing or other specialty items, the customer waives any and all claims against Pressed & Shaken Laundry LLC, including its representatives, agents, and employees, for any damage to or loss of property that may arise as a result of providing such access. Furthermore, the customer agrees to release Pressed & Shaken Laundry LLC, as well as its representatives, agents, and employees, from any liability for bodily injury or personal harm that may occur as a result of accessing the customer's property for the purpose of delivering clothing or specialty items. The customer also agrees to indemnify and hold Pressed & Shaken Laundry LLC, including its representatives, agents, and employees, harmless against any claims, costs, or damages arising from such incidents.

User Restrictions and Promotional Offers

Pressed & Shaken Laundry LLC may, at its sole discretion, create promotional codes that can be redeemed for service credits, features, or other benefits, subject to specific terms established for each promotion. You agree that promotional codes, must be used solely by their intended audience and for their specified purpose, cannot be duplicated, sold, transferred, or made available to the general public unless explicitly authorized by Pressed & Shaken Laundry LLC in writing, and must not exceed or attempt to exceed quantity limits or be used for resale, speculative, fraudulent, or unauthorized purposes not explicitly allowed by this Agreement or the terms of a specific promotional offer. All promotional codes may be disabled by Pressed & Shaken Laundry LLC at any time without liability, are not redeemable for cash, and may expire before being used. Pressed & Shaken Laundry LLC reserves the right to withhold or revoke credits, features, or benefits obtained through the use of a promotional offer if it determines, at its sole discretion, that the use or redemption was erroneous, fraudulent, illegal, or violated the terms of the promotional offer or this Agreement.

Pressed & Shaken Laundry LLC retains the right to pursue and prosecute, to the fullest extent permitted by law, any instances of misrepresentation, fraud, or violations of this Agreement or applicable laws.

Use of Links

The Services may include links to external websites or services that are developed, sponsored, or maintained by third parties.

Pressed & Shaken Laundry LLC does not review, monitor, operate, or control these third-party websites or services accessible via the provided links, and is not responsible for the content available on or through them. By providing access to such links, Pressed & Shaken Laundry LLC does not endorse or recommend the products or services offered by the sponsor or owner of those websites or services.

We make no guarantees, representations, or warranties regarding the accuracy, relevance, or reliability of electronic content provided by third parties, nor are we responsible for the use of any personal information you provide to those websites or services. Use of such links is entirely at your own risk.

Pressed & Shaken Laundry LLC reserves the right to remove or discontinue links to any external website or service at any time and for any reason.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Pressed & Shaken Laundry LLC, along with its officers, directors, employees, and agents, harmless from any and all claims, demands, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from or related to your use of the Services, your breach or violation of this Agreement, Pressed & Shaken Laundry LLC’s use of your User Content; or your violation of the rights of any third party, including Third Party Contractors.

Reservation of Rights

All rights not expressly granted herein are reserved by Pressed & Shaken Laundry LLC.
