Refund Policy

At Pressed & Shaken Laundry LLC, we strive to provide exceptional service and ensure customer satisfaction. However, we understand that issues may arise. Below is our refund policy:


Self-Service Laundry:

  • Refunds for self-service machines are available in cases of machine malfunction. Please report the issue to our staff immediately, and we will assist in resolving the problem or provide a refund.
  • Refunds are not available for user errors, such as improper loading of machines or use of incorrect detergents.


Wash & Fold Services:

  • Customers are encouraged to inspect their items at the time of pick-up or delivery. Customers must notify Pressed & Shaken Laundry LLC within 48 hours of receiving their wash & fold service regarding any lost or damaged items. Failure to do so will constitute a waiver of any claims related to lost or damaged items.
  • If you are dissatisfied with the quality of our wash & fold service, please notify us within 24 hours of receiving your items. Refunds will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
  • Pressed & Shaken Laundry LLC reserves the right to reimburse customers for lost or damaged clothing at its sole discretion. The reimbursement value will be calculated by Pressed & Shaken Laundry LLC and will be capped at five times the cleaning cost of the garment.
  • Items deemed unsuitable for laundering due to pre-existing damage, improper care labels, or delicate fabrics are excluded from refunds.


Pickup & Delivery Services:

  • Customers are encouraged to inspect their items at the time of pick-up or delivery. Customers must notify Pressed & Shaken Laundry LLC within 48 hours of receiving their delivery regarding any lost or damaged items from that specific delivery. Failure to do so will constitute a waiver of any claims related to lost or damaged items.
  • Pressed & Shaken Laundry LLC is not liable for any damage to laundry items that occurs before pick-up or after delivery.
  • At its sole discretion, Pressed & Shaken Laundry LLC may reimburse customers for lost or damaged clothing. The reimbursement value will be determined exclusively by Pressed & Shaken Laundry LLC and will be capped at five times the cost of cleaning the garment.
  • Pressed & Shaken Laundry LLC is not liable for delays or service interruptions caused by factors beyond our control, including natural disasters, power outages, or transportation disruptions.


Dry Cleaning Services:

  • Refunds for dry cleaning are available only if the garment is damaged due to our negligence. Claims must be made within 48 hours of receiving the item.
  • Pressed & Shaken Laundry LLC is not responsible for items damaged due to pre-existing conditions or incorrect care labels provided by the manufacturer.


General Conditions:

  • Refunds will not be issued for items damaged due to pre-existing conditions, improper care labels, or items not suitable for the requested service.
  • Lost or damaged items must be reported within the designated timeframe stated for each service. Late claims will not be honored.
  • Proof of purchase (receipt) is required for all refund requests.
  • Pressed & Shaken Laundry LLC is not liable for any incidental or consequential damages beyond the stated refund terms.


Stain Removal Disclaimer:

  • While we take great care in treating stains, Pressed & Shaken Laundry LLC does not guarantee complete removal of all stains. Refunds or reimbursements will not be issued for unsuccessful stain removal.


Weight-Based Services:

  • For laundry services charged by weight, Pressed & Shaken Laundry LLC will not be responsible for discrepancies in weight due to moisture content or embedded items left in pockets.


Inventory Check for High-Value Items:

  • Customers are strongly encouraged to exclude items of significant monetary or sentimental value from their laundry orders. 
  • Pressed & Shaken Laundry LLC assumes no responsibility for such items unless they are explicitly declared in advance and a written agreement is established prior to service.


Unclaimed Items:

  • Items not claimed within 30 days will be considered abandoned and donated to charity. Pressed & Shaken Laundry LLC will make reasonable attempts to contact the customer before this occurs.


Limitation of Liability:

  • Pressed & Shaken Laundry LLC’s liability is limited to the refund or reimbursement terms outlined above. By using our services, customers acknowledge and accept these limitations.
